Secretary Susan Johnson will send letters to two prospective members, inviting them to join the Dogwood Garden Club. They will also be invited to attend our May Luncheon.

Information about the May Luncheon was distributed by Susan Johnson. The luncheon will be held at 11:00 on Thursday, May 14, 2026, at the ETC Bakery and Deli in Marion.

Latta Baptist Church has donated 13 Easter Lilies to our garden club. Members who are able will meet at 10:00 on Tuesday, April 14, to plant the Lilies on the church property.

Lois White presented a program on “Hummingbirds”, and several members told of their experiences with Hummingbirds.

Lois also led in a discussion of members’ past visits with Pearl Fryer at his topiary garden in Bishopville. Mr. Fryer recently passed away.

The door prize, a beautiful planter, oven mitt, and coffee mug, was won by Beverly Berry.

After a time of fellowship and refreshments, the meeting was adjourned.
