Lake View Edges McBee 8-7

Lake View edged McBee 8-7 in varsity baseball action played on Monday, April 6.
The Wild Gators scored a run in the bottom of the first inning to take a 1-0 lead. Lake View added 2 runs in the bottom of the second inning to go up 3-0. McBee scored 4 runs in the top of the third inning to go up 4-3. Lake View tied the score at 4 with a run in the bottom of the third inning to knot the score at 4. In the top of the fourth inning, McBee scored 3 runs to go up 7-4. Lake View added 2 runs in the bottom of the fourth inning and trailed by a run, 7-6 after 4 innings of play. Lake View tacked on 2 runs in the bottom of the fifth inning to edge McBee 8-7.
Lake View connected for 10 hits in the game. Ian Capps had 3 singles, 2 rbi, and scored a run. Bryce King had a double, a triple, a walk, and scored 3 runs. T. Lovette had a single, was hit by a pitch, had 2 rbi, and scored a run. Liam Newell had a single and garnered 2 walks. S. Deese had a double and scored a run. Chase Price and a single, 2 walks, and scored a run. L. King had a triple, a rbi, and scored a run. Z. Burroughs garnered a walk.
K. Jackson and S. Deese each had a stolen base for Lake View.
Lake View did not commit an error in the game.
