Although Latta High’s Zackarias (Zack) Page received other offers, he signed at the next level with Fayetteville State University on Friday, May 22, at the Ellis Performing Arts Center in Latta.
Latta football Coach Freddie Sawyer welcomed everyone to the signing. Sawyer thanked everyone for being there. He had complimentary remarks for the football skills of Zack Page. He thanked Zack’s parents for his participation in the sport where he gave it his all.
Page will major in Computer Engineering and specialize in building.
He has played football for the 3 previous years.
He was influenced in football by his Father, brother, and uncles.
While on the Latta Vikings football team, he played on the offensive and defensive lines where he excelled. He was awarded with his expertise by being awarded with the All-Region Award.
As Page moves forward with his studies and football, he will always remember the long days and nights that he and his teammates devoted to the game of football.
Page believes his versatility makes him a good fit for the Fayetteville State University.
When not playing football, Page enjoys playing basketball.
His parents, Brandon and Jessica Page, are very proud of their son and his accomplishments both on and off the football field. They look forward to his future accomplishments as they continue to support him in his pursuit of football and a college education.
The football coaching staff looks forward to Zack’s football skills at the next level and in his future education.
