The Lake View Wild Gators defeated the Fairmont Golden Tornadoes 9-1 in varsity baseball played in Lake View on Wednesday, April 22.
Lake View placed a run onto the scoreboard in the bottom of the first inning and added 2 runs in the second inning. In the fourth inning, the Wild Gators scored a run to go up 4-0. In the fifth inning, Lake View connected for 4 runs to lead Fairmont 8-0. In the bottom of the sixth inning, the Wild Gators tacked on another run to up 9-0. Fairmont managed to score a run in the top of the seventh inning.
