Latta Vikings Win 11-1 Over McBee In State 1A Playoff Action

The Latta Vikings won 11-1 over the McBee Panthers in varsity baseball state 1 A playoff action held at McBee on Saturday, May 23.
Latta scored a run in the top of the second inning to take a 1-0 lead. In the third inning, McBee tied the game with a scored run. Latta had a very productive top of the fifth inning while scoring 5 runs. The Vikings added 4 runs in the top of the sixth to claim the win in the run-ruled shortened game.
The Vikings had 10 hits in the game while holding McBee to 4 hits.
The McBee Panthers committed only 1 error in the game while the Latta Vikings did not commit an error.

Mason Weatherford had a home run, 2 rbi, and in his 4-plate appearances. Logan Byrd had a double, a walk, and scored a run in his 3 at-bats.
