Marion County Sheriff’s deputies arrested 44-year-old Marshall Dewayne Jones of Gresham following an alleged assault on Johnson Loop.
Jones is accused of pointing a loaded firearm at a victim and threatening to kill them. Jones is charged with first-degree assault and battery, possession of a firearm or ammunition by a person convicted of certain crimes (first offense), pointing and presenting a firearm, and possession of less than one gram of methamphetamine.
Jones is currently being held at the Marion County Detention Center.
