The Dillon Middle School Jazz Band performed at Crayton Middle School in Columbia, SC for JPA also, known as Jazz Performance Assessment. For the first time in the history of the Dillon Middle School Band program a Jazz Band was formed called “The Jazzy Catz”. The Jazzy Catz received the highest rating given, which was a SUPERIOR rating, from all three judges . Outstanding soloist went to Jaylen Keitt(alto sax) and Jamerson Campbell(drummer).
