The Lake View Wild Gators defeated the Mullins Auctioneers 21-3 in the run-ruled 3-inning varsity baseball game played in Mullins on Monday, April 20.
Lake View managed to place 18 runs onto the scoreboard in the top of the first inning. Mullins placed a run onto the scoreboard in the bottom of the second inning. In the top of the third inning, Lake View added 3 runs.
Lake View had 17 hits in the game and 5 stolen bases. Lake View committed 1 error in the game.
Lake View’s Z. Burroughs pitched 2 innings and allowed a run that was not earned, walked 2, and struck out 3 of the 7 batters he faced. L. King pitched 1 inning and struck out 2 of the 3 batters he faced.
Lake View’s head coach is William (Will) Celmer. He is assisted by Ira Ford, Jackson Powers, Jeffery Ceasar, Ashley Moody, and Luke Haselden.
Mullin’s head coach is Johnathan Elliott.
Lake View will host Fairmont on Wednesday, April 22, at 6:00 p.m.
Mullins will travel to Kingstree on Wednesday, April 22, for a 6:00 p.m. game.
