The Green Sea Floyds Lady Trojans handed the Dillon Christian School Lady Warriors a 59-46 loss in varsity basketball action played in Dillon on Friday, January 9.
Green Sea Floyds led 19-6 after the first quarter of play. DCS committed 5 fouls in the first quarter while Green Sea Floyds committed 4 fouls.
By halftime, the Lady Trojans were up 32-19. DCS committed 5 fouls in the second quarter.

The Lady Warriors’ Braylin Carter led all scorers with 26 points. She had ten 2-point baskets and 6 free throws. Lily King added 10 points with two 2-point baskets and 6 free throws. Fraley Britt sank a 3-point basket and a 2-point basket for 5 points. Kennedy Hunt had a 2-point basket and 3 free throws to add 5 points to the scoreboard.
Shantavia Hilliard led the Lady Trojans with 17 points. She had five 2-point baskets, a 3-point basket, and 4 free throws. Tanisha Myers added 14 points to the scoreboard with seven 2-point baskets. Jaeonna Phillips had two 2-point baskets, a 3-point basket, and was perfect at the free throw line with 2 free throws for 9 points. Tia Lynch had three 2-point baskets and a free throw for 7 points. Mary Kate Strickland, Kierra Andrews, Myra Di Cristofaro, Janarah McLeod, and Endia McClellan each had a 2-point basket.
