Elegant Reception Held At Abingdon Manor To Celebrate Completion Of Library’s New Youth Reading Room

An elegant reception was held at Abingdon Manor on Wednesday night to celebrate the completion of the new Youth Reading Room at the Latta Library. The room was made possible by the request from the Dr. Francis Marion McMillan Foundation. Guests were those connected to the library. Guests enjoyed delicious hors d’oeuvres and conversation. It was a delightful event. The Latta Library Foundation Board of Directors includes Dorothy Bethea, Dewitt Coleman, Gayle Coleman, Fred Ellis, Christina Fowler, Vickie Graham, Harold Kornblut, and LaFon LeGette, Jr.
