Dillon County’s Alpha Lambda Chapter of The Delta Kappa Gamma Society International ended its 2025-2026 year with a number of celebrations: Alpha Lambda Chapter’s 48th birthday, DKG International’s 97th birthday, Sarah Pullie’s 25th year of membership, Brittani Alford’s 5th year of membership, and Kelli Floyd’s Alpha Lambda Public Service Award. Additionally, special awards were presented to several chapter members, chapter officers for 2026-2028 were installed, and a $500 scholarship was awarded to a local high school student.
With chapters in 17 countries, The Delta Kappa Gamma Society International is an honor society of key women educators whose mission is to promote the professional and personal growth of women educators and excellence in education. Alpha Lambda Chapter has been active in Dillon County since May of 1978.
