James Brian Blanchett, 27 years old of Marion, has been arrested and charged by the Marion County Criminal Investigation Division. Blanchett is charged with Stalking.
It is alleged that between November 1, 2024, and March 5, 2025, Blanchett unlawfully contacted the victim numerous times by numerous fake email accounts, after being told not to have any contact with the victim. The ongoing, threatening contact made the victim fear for their safety as well as the safety of their family.
Blanchett is currently held at the Marion County Detention Center.
All individuals are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
