Main Street Methodist Church held A Passion Festival on Sunday, March 29, at 7:00 p.m.
The Prelude was “God of Grace, We Sing Your Praise” and “Fairest Lord Jesus” by The Sarah Allen Handbell Choir.
The welcome and invocation was by The Reverend Henry A. Altman.
The Offertory was “The Palms”.
The Doxology was sung.
The program was God So Loved The World, a service of scripture and song performed by The Charles Wesley Choir with guest vocalist and instrumentalists.
The Choir performed “God So Loved The World”, “In The Shadow of the Palms”, “Remember Me”, “Cup of Sorrow”, “Not a Word Did He Speak”, “King of Sorrows”, “Soldier of the Cross”, “Were You There”, and “Now, O Death, Where is Thy Sting?”.
The benediction was by The Reverend Henry A. Altman.
The Postlude was “Thine Be the Glory”.
After the service, everyone was invited to join in Asbury Hall for a time of refreshment, fellowship, and an opportunity to greet the choirs.
