The Hamer Church of God will hold Spring Revival from May 24 through May 27 with Evangelist Larry Flippo who will speak at the Sunday services. Bishop Scott King, who is the lead pastor of Judah Church of Anderson, S.C., will be the speaker for the Monday through Wednesday night services.
The service times are Sunday at 11:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m. and Monday through Wednesday at 7:00 p.m.
Judah Church began with eight people who met in the home of Scott and Tyra King in 2002. In 2003, the church operated in a building between two bars. The church is now located in a building in Anderson with 350 to 400 people who attend the two worship services on Sunday.
Both Scott and his wife, Tyra, were active prior to 2002, in ministry across the United States and also in Kenya and Africa. King was an evangelist from 1998 until 2002 when they were led to move to Anderson.
The church was named after one of their children, the Kings lost during a pregnancy. Judah means “praise” and that’s what the church is about at Judah Church.
Since beginning, the church has focused on family and children’s ministries.
Hamer Church of God is a Pentecostal, spirit-filled church that is ready to welcome you.
Pastor Kevin Byrd and the entire congregation of Hamer Church of God invite everyone to attend the revival.
Hamer Church of God is located at 2410 Highway 301 North, Hamer, S.C.
