The Dillon County Sheriff’s Office has reports of individuals calling people within the county using our phone number at the Sheriff’s Office in an attempt to collect money. They are calling by spoofing our number. It is not the Sheriff’s Office calling.
They will not call you to collect any funds for missing jury duty, fines or any other reason.
Please do not give anyone your information across the telephone.
