Dillon And Marlboro County Battle In Volleyball

Dillon's #4 returns one

The Dillon Lady Wildcats won 3-2 in varsity volleyball action played in Dillon on Tuesday, September 10.
The Marlboro County Lady Bulldogs took a 14-6 lead in the first game before Dillon came back and closed the gap to only 1 point, Marlboro County 16 and Dillon 15. However, the Lady Bulldogs pulled away and won 25-19. In the second game, Marlboro County once again took a 7-1 lead. Dillon fought back and closed the gap to Marlboro County 19 and Dillon 17 before Dillon took the lead, Dillon 24 and Marlboro 23. Dillon took the second game 25-23.
Johnna R. Jones is the head coach for Dillon.
Dillon will travel to Aynor on Thursday, September 12, for a 7:00 p.m. matchup.
