Deputies Make Arrest After Responding To Shots Fired Call

Two handguns, magazines, a bag of marijuana, a digital scale, sandwich bags, a sheriff’s badge, and bullets laid out on a wooden table.

Deputies responded to a report of shots being fired from a vehicle traveling along Pee Dee Church Road. The caller advised they followed the suspect vehicle to Sarah’s Tobacco off Lester Road.

Upon arrival, deputies quickly located the suspect matching the caller’s description.
During the encounter, deputies recovered a handgun from the suspect’s waistband. A second weapon was also discovered under a tree near the business’s water meter.
During a search of the car, deputies also located a baggy containing what is believed to be marijuana.
The suspect, Randall Cornelius McMillan, 38, of Dillon, SC, was taken into custody and charged with Possession of a Weapon by a Person Convicted of Certain Crimes and Simple Possession of Marijuana.

All suspects are presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty in court.
