Get ready for a very exciting VBS and explore the jungle of “Rainforest Falls” at Mount Calvary Baptist Church. Dates are May 31 (Sunday) through June 4 (Thursday). Supper is served each evening at 6:00, and then the excitement begins in the gym at 6:25.
Each day children and youth meet in the gym for songs, dances, skits, and mission offering challenge. Following this, youth go upstairs for their class, and children begin to move from station to station to explore the jungle sites.
There are classes for ages 2-3 through youth with a senior adult ladies’ class. 2-3 year olds explore at their own pace and level in a classroom all their own. Graded groups are based on the grade completed this past year in school. There is a place for everyone!
Each day children explore the nature of God. Themes for each night are God is our creator, God knows everything, God is our safe place, God is love, and God is forever. At “Rainforest Falls”, children will participate in memorable Bible-learning activities, sing catchy songs, play fun games, experience fun Bible adventures, and explore cool experiments in Imagination Station. Plus, kids will visit the KidVid Cinema and take a train ride through the parking lot. VBS concludes at 8:30. Children will be dismissed each evening at the double doors at the gym. Parents need to walk up to meet them there. Safety is a priority for the children who come!
Mark your calendar to be here Sunday, May 31 through Thursday, June 4 from 6:00 until 8:30 each evening. Registration begins each evening at 5:45 in the Fellowship Building. Look for a table with free children’s t-shirts next to the registration tables. Be here the first night to be sure you get one.
