Local talent will take center stage this weekend as Elite Dance Company hosts its 14th Annual Recital at Florence Little Theatre. The show will be held on Saturday at 4:30 PM, with dancers from across the region ready to showcase a season of hard work, growth, and passion.
Founded in 2011 by Dillon native and lifelong dancer Krystle Ladson, Elite Dance Company has become a staple in the local arts community. What began as a single studio in Dillon has since expanded to serve families in both Dillon and Florence, with a current enrollment of more than 70 young dancers.
“Our goal has always been more than dance,” says Ladson. “We’re building confidence, discipline, creativity, and community through the art of movement.”

The annual recital brings together dancers of all ages and skill levels, from tiny tots taking the stage for the first time to competitive dancers performing advanced pieces. Families and supporters can expect a diverse program filled with jazz, tap ballet, contemporary, hip hop, and more.
Now in its 14th season, Elite Dance Company continues to serve as a vibrant hub for young talent in the Pee Dee region, providing not only dance training but also mentorship and life skills that will follow students well beyond the studio.
Tickets are available now for Saturday’s show. For more information about the recital or to learn more about the company, visit Elite Dance Company’s website (www.elitedancecompany.online) or follow them on social media.
