Harbor Freight Tools Employees Visit VFW Dinner

At its 4/11/2024 stated meeting, the Dillon VFW recognized Dillon Harbor Freight Tools for sponsoring its meal at the $150 level. Military Veterans and Harbor Freight Tools workers Daniel Watson, Bradford Yates, and Kurt Hales attended the Post meeting and spoke about their time in the military and about the Veteran friendly work environment at Harbor Freight Tools. In welcoming the three Veterans to the VFW, Post Commander John Harlow remarked that Harbor Freight Tools in 2023 was named by Newsweek Magazine as one of America’s greatest workplaces for Veterans. Marine Veteran and Harbor Freight Tools employee Daniel Watson used the opportunity to present his personal check in the amount of $1,000 to the Dillon VFW. The Dillon VFW was nationally charted on 4/8/1946 and has continuously served Dillon area Veterans and their families for 78 plus years.
