20th Annual Pork In The Fork Held At Lovely Home Of Earl and Cindy Gleason

Guests of Earl and Cindy Gleason enjoyed the 20th Annual Pork in the Fork on Saturday, April 18th. The weather was beautiful and the lovely home and yard of the Gleasons was the perfect setting as it always is for the event. There was pulled pork barbecue, chicken bog, baked beans, slaw, other sides, and a number of desserts to enjoy. Artist Jerry Locklair of Lynchburg gave away some of his prints to lucky winners and gave some history of each one. Congressman Russell Fry, Senator Kent Williams, Rep. Jackie Hayes, Rep. Lucas Atkinson, Marion County Probate Judge Carroll Atkinson, Dillon County Counci Chairman Dennis Townsend, and Lake View Mayor David Suggs were among those in attendance. Everyone enjoyed the food and fellowship and can’t wait for next year’s 21st Annual Pork In The Fork.
