An accidental shooting occurred on February 4th on Pleasant Hill Road in Dillon, according to a report from the Dillon County Sheriff’s Office. Deputies were dispatched shortly after midnight, the report says.
The victim was located at a neighbor’s house, and deputies, 1st Sgt. Casey Cooper and Cpl. Ethan Graves, administered first aid until EMS arrived.
The Dillon County News is told that a two-year-old accidentally shot the person, who was treated and released from the hospital.
