Tree At Henry Street Park Dedicated In Honor Of Edythe Collington

A Tree Dedication Ceremony was held at Henry Street Park this morning, Saturday, November 22nd. The tree was planted in honor of Mrs. Edythe Collington, a charter member of Omicron Omicron Omega Chapter of the Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. The welcome was given by Marla Reaves, Vice-President. Monique Bethea, chaplain, gave the opening prayer. Andrea Favor, the Enhancing Environment Chairperson, stated the purpose. Reflections were then given. Favor conducted the tree dedication. This was followed by special acknowledgments by Tenisha Graves, and the closing by Marla Reaves. Their hope is that the tree will stand as a lasting symbol of the service, grace, and legacy of Edythe Collington within their sisterhood.
