Law Enforcement Update
The Town of Latta Council met on February 10, 2026, at 4:30 p.m. with Sheriff Jamie Hamilton to discuss law enforcement presence within the Town of Latta.
The Council and Sheriff want to assure our citizens that there will be a certified law enforcement officer on duty within town limits 24 hours a day. Residents should not be concerned about delayed response or service due to the Town’s current police department status.
We remain committed to the safety and well-being of our community and will continue to keep the public informed.
