The Pearls Of Promise and Purpose Group of the Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. held a tree planting event in honor of Earth Day and National Arbor Day on Saturday, April 27th at Gordon Park in Dillon. They were joined by Dillon County Councilman Jamal Campbell.
