McLeod Health Dillon Receives More Than $8,000 from Palmetto Leadership Dillon

McLeod Health Dillon received a generous gift during the 2024 Palmetto Leadership Dillon graduation ceremony on June 13. In March, Palmetto Leadership Dillon – including class member Jenny Hardee, CEO of McLeod Health Dillon – hosted a lip sync gala as a their annual fundraiser.

McLeod Health Dillon was chosen as the recipient of all funds raised by the gala. On behalf of Palmetto Leadership Dillon, Johnnie Luehrs, President of the Dillon County Chamber of Commerce, presented Jenny Hardee, CEO of McLeod Health Dillon, and Dr. Caetie Rabon, Regional Chief Medical Officer, with a check for more than $8,000 to fund special projects at the hospital.

Additionally, McLeod Health Clarendon CEO Rachel Gainey served as the commencement speaker for the graduating class. Gainey was involved in the development of the Palmetto Leadership Dillon program when she worked at McLeod Health Dillon.
