Local Army Veterans Recognized

On 11/8/2024, Dillon VFW Post 6091 and Latta American Legion Post 266 stopped at the Dillon Adult Day Care Center to meet with its Veterans and thank them for their military service. Dillon VFW Post Quartermaster Joey Williams talked to and heard from the Veterans about their time in the Army and gave them each an Army cap given by State Representative Jackie Hayes. Commander David Moultrie of American Legion Post 266 said, “You have not been forgotten and on Veterans Day in Dillon a parade is being held in your honor and for all Veterans.” The VFW and the American Legion want all Veterans to know this Veterans Day that their military service is appreciated and their commitment to defend our country will not be forgotten.
