Mrs. Cox’s class at Latta Elementary School enjoyed a visit from our local 4-H Agent, Elizabeth Snipes! We have been learning about electrical circuits in fourth grade. They had an opportunity to make their own circuits using copper tape, a light bulb, and battery. They quickly learned that electricity moves in a closed circuit. Gaps in the copper will stop the flow. We used many problem-solving skills throughout this activity. We enjoyed having Mrs. Elizabeth in our classroom today and can’t wait until she is able to come back! (Source: Latta Schools)
