Lillith Shooter Signs With Barton College

Dillon Christian School’s Lillith Shooter took the next step in her softball and academic career as she signed with Barton College on Wednesday, February 4, at the Dillon Christian School Media Center, 1325 Commerce Drive, Dillon, S.C. Barton College is a private, four-year liberal arts college in Wilson, North Carolina, with a focus on academic excellence. She will major in business and accounting.
Dillon Christian School Headmaster Brent Hardy opened with prayer and welcomed everyone to the signing.
Hardy stated that “Lilli” was special to him as he led her to the Lord as her pastor and also baptized her.
Shooter was a “role model” at Dillon Christian School.
Shooter also had offers from North Carolina Wesleyan College and Florence Darlington Technical College.
Shooter believes she is a good fit for this college because she likes the campus, and she thinks that she will be able to succeed academically as well as in her sport there.
Her Dad and her pitching coach have influenced and supported her during her 10-year career to this point.
Not only is Shooter a great softball pitcher, she also plays first base, and outfield plus she excels at volleyball.
She will carry her love for the sport and her perseverance in difficult circumstance from the high school level to the college level.
She has enjoyed meeting new people through softball and making friends throughout the years while enjoying softball.
While playing softball, she received the MVP award during travel softball and Defensive MVP for Dillon Christian School and also All Region and was a North-South player.
She enjoys hobbies such as baking, drawing, and playing sports.
Her parents, Luanna and Charlie Shooter, are very proud of their daughter. They wish her the best continued success in softball and her studies.
