Law Enforcement Officers Meet To Learn More About Forming A Fraternal Order of Police

Several law enforcement officers met today to learn more about forming a Fraternal Order Of Police in Dillon and Marion counties. According to the South Carolina Fraternal Order of Police website, the Fraternal Order of Police is an “advocate for law enforcement officers statewide. Serving as the collective voice for those devoted to safeguarding our communities, we are unwavering in our commitment to enhance the working conditions of law enforcement officers and provide a united voice for South Carolina Law Enforcement by empowering, uniting, and defending the rights of law enforcement professionals. Our approach involves active engagement in education, legislation, information dissemination, and community participation.”
After learning more about the organization, the officers present voted to form a lodge in Dillon County with the following officers: Simon Temple, President; Zane Bryant, First Vice-President, and Drew Massengale Secretary-Treasurer.
