Hanahan Edges Dillon 7-6

Hanahan edged Dillon 7-6 on Friday, May 15, in varsity softball playoff action played in Hanahan.
Hanahan came from behind to edge Dillon in this closely contested battle on the softball field.
Dillon started the game with 2 runs scored in the top of the first inning and added a run in the top of the second, and added 3 runs in the top of the fourth inning to take a 6-0 lead. However, Hanahan scored a run in the bottom of the fourth inning, added 4 runs in the bottom of the fifth, added a run in the bottom of the sixth inning to tie the game at 6, and added a final and decisive run in the bottom of the seventh inning for the win.
Dillon connected for 12 hits in the game while Hanahan had 10 hits.
