Dear Churches, Civic Organizations, Funeral Directors, Families, and Friends:
We extend warm greetings from The St. Mary Project, LLC and pray that this message finds you in peace and health. We write to invite your support for a deeply meaningful cause – the perpetual care and maintenance of The St. Mary Cemetery, located in the heart of Dillon, South Carolina. This sacred ground holds the legacy and memory of generations who came before us – men, women, and children whose lives and faith shaped the foundation of our community.
As time passes, the responsibility to preserve and maintain this hallowed space rests on all of us – families of the departed, funeral professionals, community leaders, and faith-based and civic partners alike. The St. Mary Cemetery is more than a final resting place; it is a testament to the dignity of life, the power of memory, and the promise of resurrection.
To that end, The St. Mary Project, LLC, has been established to ensure the perpetual care of the cemetery. Contributions to this initiative will support the ongoing upkeep of the grounds: landscaping, restoration of aged markers, preservation of walkways and driveways, and general beautification so that all who visit find it to be a place of serenity, reverence, and reflection.
We humbly ask for your partnership in this mission. Whether through financial contributions, in-kind support, sponsorships, or helping us raise awareness within your networks, your involvement makes a lasting difference. Together, we can uphold the honor and dignity of those who have gone before us, and preserve this sacred space for future generations.

The St. Mary Project, LLC, is registered with the State of South Carolina, and has an Employer Identification Number (EIN). We also have a Business Account with the First Citizens Bank in Dillon, SC. The St Mary Project, LLC will be a continuous project to keep St. Mary Cemetery as a place of honor; therefore, we are asking that each household with family members at The St. Mary Cemetery sacrifice a donation of $50.00 a month, or whatever you are able to give to support this great cause. In addition to the improvements already listed, we would like to include tree removals, gate erections, installation of roadways, along with the gravesite improvements, and ground maintenance.
