First Farmers Market Of The Season Held In Downtown Dillon

The first Farmers Market of the season was held in downtown Dillon in the South Plaza on Monday. The theme was “Gifts From The Garden.” There were fresh fruits and vegetables, honey, homemade goods, information, and other items available, and of course, Tom’s Travelin’ Coffee truck was on hand with various beverages.
The Farmers Markets are held the second Monday of each month from May through November from 4-7 p.m. in the South Plaza. The schedule is as follows:
June 10-National Ice Tea Month
July 8-Red, White & Blueberry which will feature a Blueberry Cooking Contest
August 12-Farmers Market Week
September 9-Bring Your Grandparents to the Market
October 14-Trick or Treat at the Market
November 11-Mistletoe Market
