At its March 13th stated meeting, Dillon VFW Post 6091 thanked Mrs. Peggy Todd for her past and continuing financial support for Veterans. Both Mrs. Peggy and her now deceased husband, Army Colonel James Colonel Todd, Jr., made supporting Veterans a priority in their lives. VFW Dillon Post Commander Chris Norris thanked Mrs. Peggy for her support of Veterans, presented her with a VFW certificate of appreciation, and a bouquet of flowers. The Post meal was given in her honor, and she was escorted to the head of the chow line by Commander Norris. Mrs. Peggy made some brief remarks to the combat veterans in attendance and recalled earlier times she had been at the VFW Post with Colonel Todd.
