Dillon County’s Alpha Lambda Chapter of The Delta Kappa Gamma Society International recently held an end-of-year meeting which included a number of celebrations: Alpha Lambda Chapter’s 47th birthday, DKG International’s 96th birthday, Nan Carmichael’s 30th year of membership, Beth Jackson’s 15th year of membership, Susan Bryson’s appointment as the SC State Organization’s Assistant Treasurer, and Alpha Lambda Chapter’s “Outstanding” Achievement Award from the SC State Organization.
Members in attendance enjoyed refreshments, including a cake adorned with red roses (the official flower of DKG) contributed by Mary Freitas. Members also enjoyed a competitive testing of their DKG knowledge by playing DKG Jeopardy.
