The Dillon County Farmers Market Board of Directors 2025 met on Monday, April 7, at 3:00 p.m. at the Dillon County Chamber of Commerce to discuss the new season for the Pop-Up Farmers Market.
Each month there will be a theme and a market chef. The schedule is as follows:
MAY 12: Celebrating Strawberry Season, Market Chef-Clemson Extension Service
JUNE 9: National Fresh Fruits Vegetable Month, Blueberry Cooking Contest, Market Chef-CareSouth Carolina
JULY 14: Lazy Days of Summer, Market Chef: Boys to Men/Girls With Purpose
AUGUST 11: National Farmers Market Week, Market Chef: La Oaxquena Salsa Demonstration
SEPTEMBER 8: Bring Your Grandparents to the Farmers Market, Market Chef-Dillon County 4-H
OCTOBER 13: Trick-or-Treat at the Farmers Market, Pumpkin/Sweet Potato Contest, Market Chef: David Longacre
NOVEMBER 10: Mistletoe Market, Market Chef: Collard Cooking Demonstration
