Cooper Funeral Home Has A Rich History In The Community

Cooper Funeral Home has a rich history in Dillon County. The following from their website discusses this history:
Benny Cooper founded Cooper Funeral Home in 1970. Cooper Funeral Home operated in a two-story building on East Main Street for 17 years. In 1987, they moved into their new facilities on 209 Black Branch Road. They have improved their services over the years and in 1989 they added a caisson and horses for military funerals.
The caisson has been used all across the state of South Carolina, North Carolina, and Georgia. They can now web cast a live funeral service to a family member or friend that is unable to attend the service. This will allow individuals to remain connected to the event even though they cannot physically attend. They can also livestream funeral services.
Over the last 56 years, the funeral service has changed quite a bit. With today’s caskets, vaults, and urns, there is no limit to what one may do to customize a funeral service. With all the changes that have taken place, Cooper Funeral Home did not sit back and watch, they have tried to keep up with the times and incorporate these new ideas into their services. Services today are limited only to one’s imagination.
Cooper Funeral Home is proud that their establishment is completely family owned and operated and they are pleased to have an A+ rating with the Better Business Bureau.®
