Cleanup day is underway at the Dillon County Museum. Members of the Dillon County Historical society came out to make sure the museum is in tip top shape for guests. The historical society will have a booth at Latta Springfest 4/18 and the museum will be open to guests for the entirety of the festival. The museum is filled with countless items spanning centuries of history in the area. Pictures, documents, and authentic historical pieces contribute to the immersive experience of the museum. Admission is free of charge. The historical society also welcomes anyone who wishes to learn more about the history of Dillon County or wishes to help in the preservation of history to join them as a member.
