The City of Dillon Wellness Center recently received approval to be part of the Silver Sneakers Program for senior citizens, according to Dillon City Manager Glen Wagner. Silver Sneakers is available free to older adults who meet the eligibility requirements through some Medicare Advantage plans. The goal is to provide access to fitness for senior adults. Wagner said the city will invoice the insurance company. Seniors must come at least three times a month to qualify. The program should become active in the city in June.
