Celebrate Independence Day and America’s 250th Anniversary at Fireworks Over Florence

FLORENCE, SC – The City of Florence will once again hold the Fireworks Over Florence July 4th celebration at the Florence Soccer Complex (3701 W. Palmetto St.). We are excited to announce MUSC Health Florence Medical Center as our Presenting Sponsor and are grateful for their generous contribution, which plays a pivotal role in making this event possible.

Join us on Saturday, July 4th as we celebrate Independence Day and America’s 250th anniversary with a memorable event featuring an amazing 12-15-minute drone show, 20-minute fireworks show, and live music from the Analog Saints band at 5:00 p.m. and Tru Sol Band at 7:00 p.m. and 8:30 p.m.

Mayor Lethonia Barnes shared her excitement for the event, stating: “America’s 250th anniversary is a historic milestone, and we’re excited to celebrate it right here in Florence with a night full of energy, pride, and community spirit.”

The event is FREE, with food and drinks available for purchase. The Kids Zone returns from 5- 8:00pm with new and exciting activities, including a Touch-a-Truck experience and a special appearance by an All-American patriotic superhero. Lawn chairs and blankets are welcome; coolers are not permitted.

Parking will be available at 4:00 p.m. at the Soccer Complex, with gates opening at 5pm. Additional off-site parking will be available at Sneed Middle School. Pee Dee Regional Transportation Authority (PDRTA) will provide a shuttle service from Sneed to the Soccer Complex.
