Latta High School recently honored two exceptional educators as they retire after decades of dedicated service to our students, school, and community.
Mrs. M.B. Rogers, a Social Studies teacher, is retiring after 23 years of service to Latta High School. Throughout her career, Mrs. Rogers has inspired countless students through her passion for history, commitment to academic excellence, and genuine care for those she teaches. Her impact on generations of Vikings will not soon be forgotten.
Mrs. Laura Gasque, a Computer Science teacher, is retiring after 28 years of service. Over nearly three decades, Mrs. Gasque has helped students develop essential technology skills while creating a positive and supportive learning environment. Her dedication to student success and innovation in the classroom has left a lasting mark on our school.
Together, Mrs. Rogers and Mrs. Gasque have devoted more than 50 years of service to Latta High School. Their commitment, professionalism, and unwavering support of students have helped shape the Viking community and enrich the lives of countless young people.
As they begin this well-earned new chapter, we extend our heartfelt gratitude and best wishes to both educators. While they will be greatly missed by students, faculty, staff, and alumni, their legacy will continue to be felt throughout the halls of Latta High School for years to come.
