The Marion County Airport Third Annual Aviation Week Fly In – Drive In will be held Thursday, April 23. We will be live with Eagle 92.9, Danny E. Lockemy from 10:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m.
There will be food and fun with wash-pot style food plus grilled chicken breast on the grill.
You are invited to join and be a part of this wonderful event.
Welcome comments will start at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor James Smith, East Dillon Baptist Church, Dillon, S.C., followed by Marion County Administrator David Crotts. Afterwards, Dwayne Tennie, Chairman of Marion County Council. Gary Siegfried of the South Carolina Aeronautics Commission Director will speak next. Melanie Friscoe, of the South Caolina Aviation Association will follow plus other distinguished guests.
The gates will open at 8:00 a.m. The events will start at 11:00 a.m. and conclude at 2:00 p.m.
