A ribbon cutting was held at the Midpoint I-95 RV Park was held on Friday, September 12th as they joined the Dillon County Chamber of Commerce.
The ribbon cutting was to celebrate the newly constructed building, camp office, and gym at the park, which is located at 356 West Canal Road in Sellers.
Several people turned for the event.
Chris Neely and D Melton are the owners of the park. Chris Neely welcomed everyone and said that he appreciated everyone coming for the event. He said Dillon County is a good place and encouraged everyone not to be afraid to relish what we have here. He said Melton calls this the “gateway to Myrtle Beach.” They hope to do another phase of the park soon.
After the ribbon cutting, everyone went in and the staff was introduced. Everyone enjoyed refreshments. Some took the opportunity to tour the park after refreshments.
In addition to the friendly staff, the park offers full hook-ups, quiet and spacious sites, a stocked fishing pond, a nature trail, a laundry, playground, fire rings, picnic tables, and a dog park.
