The Habitat for Humanity House in Lake View is coming along. According to Jim Kirkland, they are working the vinyl siding on the outside. On the inside, they have just completed the rough-in plumbing – all the pipes in the walls and coming up out of the floor, floor drains in bathrooms and kitchen, etc. The next steps inside are rough in electrical and the HVAC rough in – all the duct work up on the attic. The next work day at the present time is scheduled for September 13; Alpha Kappa Alpha sorority is coming again to work. Habitat is looking for more volunteer groups willing to work – group size 5-16 volunteers. They can contact Habitat at 843-464-3747 to volunteer.
