Kim Snyder presented a book to Dillon County Library Director Christina Fowler recently about her father, USMC Captain Robert Eugene Snyder. She is pictured presenting the book along with her mother, Jonnie. The book will be placed in the genealogy room of the library. Kim is also pictured being sworn into an honor guard by Commander Edwin Ham. U.S. Marine Corps Captain, In recalling her father, Kim said he was always faithful and followed his morals and values to the end. She said her father taught her to love God, to honor her family, and to learn of his military journey. “Thank you to my dad for pushing me to be the person that I am today, and to my family, I would not be here today without you,” Kim said. Her mother, Jonnie, said she knew Kim’s father would be proud of her.
