The stage is set for the Memorial Day Service on Monday at 11 a.m. at Veterans Square at the Dillon City-County Complex on West Main Street,
Program participants include:
* Dillon High School Army JROTC Cadets—post and retire the flags
* Navy Lieutenant/Chaplain Jamie Arnette—invocation and the benediction
* Dillon High School student Kaniah Owens— singing of God Bless America and the National Anthem
* Dillon Mayor Tally McColl—remarks about Memorial Day
Other parts of the program will include:
—The reading of the names of local Veterans who have died since last service and the tolling of the bell
— Placing of the memorial wreath
— Playing of TAPS will be played by Dillon High School student Cameron Ellison
— Naming of the Distinguished Deceased Veteran for 2025 will be named and family members will receive a memorial plaque
