IN MEMORIAM: David Harold Bryant

DILLON-David Harold Bryant, 91, of Dillon, S.C., passed away peacefully on April 23,2025 surrounded by love.
Born December 5, 1933, he was the beloved son of David Stacy and Evelyn Moody Bryant.
He was a graduate of Lake View High School and a proud Clemson Tiger from the 1956 graduating class. Upon graduation, he worked as an Investigator for the Food and Drug Administration for 29 years, living and working all over the United States. He served 7 years as the Quality Assurance Director with IRIX Pharmaceuticals in Florence, SC, and continued as an FDA consultant for many years across the United States and around the world. He enjoyed golf and in retirement he enjoyed golfing with friends and his grandchildren at Twin Lakes Country Club.
He dearly loved his church family at Bermuda Baptist Church. He was a lifelong member having served as Deacon, Sunday School teacher, and Sunday School Superintendent for many years. He continued to pray for each of them even when he was unable to attend.
He was preceded in death by the love of his life, Faye A. Jackson Bryant, and survived by her daughters, Celeste Jackson Campbell (Denny) and Valerie Jackson Webster (Danny), grandchildren: Joseph Kinnon Campbell (Whitney), Leah Campbell Gibbs (Chris), Andrew David Campbell (Frannie), Matthew Daniel Webster (Mara), Mariel Webster McAllister (Tripp), and eight great-grandchildren.
Lovingly referred to as “Brother”, he is survived by his brother, E. Cullen Bryant (Faye), and sisters, Nancy Heustess (Monroe) and Beverly Clapsadl (Joe), and beloved nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.
Services will be held at Mount Calvary Baptist Church on Sunday April 27th at 4 p.m. with visitation prior at 3 p.m. Burial will follow at Bermuda Baptist Church Cemetery directed by Cooper Funeral Home.
The family extends special thanks to Dr. Jeffrey Stephens, PruittHealth Home Health and Hospice and to the friends/family that lovingly cared for him during his illness: Lorrie, Theresa, Delores, Sharon, Daphine and Whitney Campbell.
