Mr. and Mrs. Benjamin Frank Thompson, III announce the marriage of their daughter, Anna F. Thompson of Dillon, to Walker C. Brumble of Latta, the son of Ashley Brumble and Kimberly Jordan on the 17th of August 2024.
The wedding took place at First Baptist Church of Dillon with Jamie Arnette officiating.
Anna was born and reared in Dillon, SC . She attended Clemson University earning a degree in AgriBusiness. Anna currently works at Farm Service Agency with the USDA in Florence.
Walker was born and reared in Latta, SC. He also attended Clemson University earning a degree in Civil Engineering. Walker currently works at the SC Department of Transportation in the Dillon County office.
The couple grew up within fifteen minutes from each other their whole lives but had never met. It took going off to Clemson for them to meet and begin their lifelong story.
The Maid of Honor was Katelyn Thompson (Dillon). The bridesmaids were Jordan Coleman (Latta), Alana Brumble (Latta), Calista Schwiers (Anderson), Lizzie McCaskill (Dillon), Curry Stephens (Dillon), Suzanne Thompson (Aiken), Sophie Rivers (Mauldin), and Charlotte Cook (Latta). The flower girls were Ellie Cook (Latta) and Bailey Froneberger (Florence).
The Best Man was Ashley Brumble (Latta). The groomsmen were Michael Johnson (Latta), Garrett McFerron (Pendleton), Jordan Hayes (Latta), Cledus Williams (Latta), Jackson Williams (Latta), Brady Hatchell (Latta) and Noah Moody (Latta). The ringbearer was Griffin Froneberger (Florence).
The wedding weekend began with practice at the church followed by a perfectly themed wildlife hunting paradise rehearsal party given by the grooms parents. The event was hosted on the banks of The Coleman’s pond and pond house.
The reception setting was a Southern Outdoor celebration that was on the lawn of Shirley Coleman’s home (Anna’s Grandma) The white tent was put up and tables were placed all around using white linens and some light blue table clothes for a touch of color. Lights were strung through out and around the dance floor where the couple, family and friends danced the night away. This special day could not have been possible without all the wonderful vendors that are listed below:
