City of Dillon offices, the wellness center and the golf course will be closed on Wednesday, January 22. Sanitation routes are scheduled for Wednesday will be picked on Thursday/ Friday.

All Dillon County offices will be closed on Wednesday, January 22.
MARLBORO COUNTY GOVERNMENT
Due to inclement weather and potential hazardous conditions, Marlboro County Government offices will close at 2:00 PM today. Only travel if absolutely necessary, as conditions may continue to worsen. We will reopen with a delay on Wednesday, January 22nd, at 11:00 a.m. Please stay tuned to local news and updates from the South Carolina Emergency Management Division for the latest information. DILLON DISTRICT FOUR: NO AFTERSCHOOL ACTIVITIES ON JAN. 21
Dillon School District Four will have no afterschool activities on Tuesday, January 21, 2025.
E-LEARNING DAY FOR DILLON DISTRICT FOUR
January 22, 2025 will be an E-Learning Day for all students and faculty. All school buildings and offices will be closed. There will be no after school activities.
E-LEARNING DAY FOR LATTA SCHOOLS
All Latta Schools will have an eLearning Day Wednesday, January 22 due to the forecasted wintry weather.

eLearning Day Expectations:
Students, school employees, and district employees will work from home. Supervisors will coordinate work assignments for their departments.
Assignments are required to be turned in within FIVE SCHOOL DAYS.
Each student who turns in assignments on time will be marked present.
Those students that do not will be marked UNEXCUSED.
Students in grades K-8 should plan for 5.5 hours of work time.
Students in grades 9-12 should plan for 6 hours of work time.
Parents are expected to read the information sent home. Students will have access to all assignments.
Teachers will be available to students and parents during normal school hours.
Students receiving assignments through Google Classroom can contact teachers through Google Classroom.
MARION COUNTY SCHOOLS
Due to the anticipated winter weather, Marion County School District will be closed on Wednesday, January 22. The closure will be observed as an Inclement Weather Day, with all schools and offices remaining closed. We will continue to monitor weather conditions and provide further updates through our automated messaging system, Facebook page, and local media outlets.
PEE DEE ACADEMY
Pee Dee Academy will have an E-Learning Day on Wednesday, January 22.
NETC (NORTHEASTERN TECHNICAL COLLEGE)
Due to the threat of inclement weather, the Northeastern Technical College campus in Marlboro County will close at 2:00 p.m. today, January 21, and all in-person classes at the Marlboro Campus are cancelled. At this time, Chesterfield and Dillon County Campuses will remain open as we continue to monitor the weather situation.
FDTC (FLORENCE-DARLINGTON TECHNICAL COLLEGE)
Due to the forecasted winter weather, Florence-Darlington Technical College will close today, January 21 at 5 p.m. and will delay opening tomorrow, January 22 until 10 a.m. All evening classes and programs will be canceled today.
The college will return to normal operating hours on Wednesday, January 22 at 10 a.m.
DCOG WOMEN’S MINISTRY
THE Dillon Church of God Women’s Ministry meeting for Tuesday, Jan. 21 has been cancelled due to the inclement weather and possible road conditions.
HAMER CHURCH OF GOD
Due to the uncertainty of the weather and the drop in temperatures, the Hamer Church of God is canceling choir practice and service on Wednesday night. Also, the food giveaway has been postponed until next week. It will be Friday, January 31st.
FIRST PRESBYTERIAN CHURCH
Due to inclement weather, First Presbyterian Church of Dillon is canceling their midweek programs for 1/22.
UNION BAPTIST CHURCH
Due to expected hazardous road conditions, all church activities at Union Baptist Church for Wednesday have been cancelled. Men’s Bible Study for Tuesday, Jan 21 is postponed to Jan 28, 6:30 p.m.
LATTA BAPTIST CHURCH
All services, classes, activities and rehearsals for Wednesday, January 22nd are canceled due to the inclement weather coming our way.
CARPS
Due to the impending weather our office is closing at 3 p.m. on Tuesday, Jan. 21, and we will not have our meeting tonight. We apologize for the inconvenience. If you need support, please feel free to give us a call at 420-459-3477.
PDRTA
Due to today’s weather conditions, all PDRTA services will end early at 5pm today.
There will be NO service on any PDRTA routes tomorrow, Wednesday, January 22nd. We are closely monitoring the situation and will provide another update by noon Wednesday regarding Thursday’s schedule.

MARION-DILLON COUNTY BOARD OF DISABILITIES
Marion-County County Board of Disabiliies will close the Dillon and Marion Centers and the Twice as Nice of Dillon Thrift Shop on Wednesday, January 22, and will resume normal operations on Thursday, January 23rd. Normal schedule on Tuesday, January 21st.
