Although Lake View controlled the opening tip-off and scored first, the Dillon Wildcats won over Lake View in varsity basketball action played in Dillon on Friday, December 5.
Dillon’s #0 quickly responded with a 2-point basket to knot the score. Each team appeared to take turns scoring. At the end of the first quarter, Lake View held a 1-point lead, 14-13. Dillon committed only 1 foul in the first quarter while Lake View committed 5 fouls.
By halftime, Dillon had a comfortable lead, 39-16. Dillon committed 3 fouls while Lake View committed 2 fouls in the quarter.
In the third quarter, Dillon committed 6 fouls while Lake View committed only 2 fouls. Dillon had a sizeable lead at this point.
Dillon will travel to Latta on Thursday, December 11. On Saturday, Dillo will host Marion.
On Friday, December 12, Lake View will host Dillon Christian School.
